We found a really nice golf course called Cross Creek on Monday in the surrounding mountains and headed out for a 2:30 tee time Monday afternoon. We wanted to fine tune our games for Wednesday's big day at Torrey Pines in La Jolla. The course had some great scenery and was a great challenge. Cathy played really well shooting 89 and I was able to get in 1 under par. An afternoon tee time at $25 cart included is hard to beat. The starter was extremely friendly and recommended a restaurant called the PUBlic House. After the round we headed back into town and had an awesome supper at this place.
We enjoyed Temecula so much we decided to come back for Thursday to tour some of the many wineries here and have another meal at the PUBlic House. Temecula is on the way to Palm Springs so it was an easy stop.
Today was absolutely beautiful as the temperature reached 30 degrees with blue sunny skies. The wineries were great, some time by the pool was nice and supper was awesome once again. We are off to Palm Springs tomorrow where it is suppose to be 37 degrees on Friday!
