Malaysian summary
It was now time to say goodbye to Malaysia and welcome a new and exciting prospect of Indonesia and Bali. We are both agreed that we have probably spent a bit too much time in Malaysia (5 weeks in total) but we have enjoyed every moment. We still are looking at places with fresh new eyes. Whilst every other backpacker we meet tells us tales of how Thailand is better, Bali more cultural etc, etc, it all lands on deaf ears (quite literally) For us Malaysia has been our first country to explore, immerse ourselves in, make mistakes in and ultimately enjoy together. At this moment in time we cant compare the beaches with Thailand or the Architecture with Bali. But, that has been a good thing because everything we’ve encountered has been new, different and exciting. Malaysia has been our starting point on a whole year of adventure and for that reason alone will always be special to us!
