After staying in Whatanaga last night, drove to Cathedral Cove, where the weather was much sunnier than last time, and hence I was abale to spend lots of time swimming in the beautiful sea, and around the rocks, and my pictures in the sunshine should be better than before (not that they were bad lat time!)
Onto Hot Water Beach, shovel in hand, but this time the tide remained stubbornly high - so there was no was you could dig your hole and lounge in the warm water - the best, and only option was to stand in the sea, feeling the heat from the springs on the soles of your feet.
Onto Auckland
