Up at 4am for a very early brekkie and off site before 5.30am. Now its not often I see a camel before dawn but two crossed our path as we drove north towards Kings Canyon. As we collectively assumed Japanese tourist mode they noncholantly strode off into the bush. No one got a good shot. "You guys are getting all the wildlife" exclaimed Macka.

When we had been walking for 2 hours I looked at my watch - it was five to nine - it felt like lunchtime.

Camped at Redbank Gorge. Last night together on tour and feeling a little down. Sio to compensate we have a proper Aussie BBQ.
