When we started researching Australia, and the great barrier reef in particular, this resort came up several times. After we booked it I happened to see on the Discovery channel that it was listed in the top 10 most beautiful places to stay. These pictures can't even capture the true beauty here. Cockatoos and Wallabies start the morning off right and all throughout the day the sights, sounds and smells are just mind blowing. The first night we were sitting out on our terrace and the whales started swimming through the channel and you could here them blowing. But besides this island being so spectacular the Qualia Inn is without a doubt the most incredible resort in the world.It was a 2 and a half hour plane ride from Sidney and from the minute we landed it was 6 star luxury treatment and a kind of peace you can't find in many places. Had I know about it before we may have vacationed here sooner. But then no other vacation could have ever lived up to this so I'm very glad we waited so long.
