Hello from Paris!
After a terrific week in London Pat was kind enough to drive us to the railway station so we can take the Eurostar to Paris.  Thank you Pat!
The train ride was pretty uneventful! it was rather quick I must say it took only about 2:15 mts to get to Paris.  Needless to say the scenery was spectacular!  we arrived in the Paris Gare De Nord station.  the three of us lugged our luggage to our Hotel which was about 5 mts away.  Our room had a fantastic view of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basilique_du_Sacr%C3%A9-C%C5%93ur,_Paris
That evening after dinner in we ended up watching the game between Spain and The Netherlands.  it was a great win for Spain.

The next day we headed to the Louvre Museum  http://www.louvre.fr/llv/commun/home.jsp?bmLocale=en  WOW!

we reserved the day after to go to the Musee D' Orsay  Loved it! Om and Shivani got the Audio tour which I totally recommend.  it was impossible to get the audio tour in Louvre because it was too busy that day. we attempted to go to the Eiffel tower that evening but I have never seen that many people at the same time.

we planned a day trip to Giverny and Versailles with Cityrama tours and am glad we had did it that way.  it was definetly a very relaxing way to visit both the places.  unfortunately we have no pictures to share as we got pickpocketed that evening in the metro.  what a nightmare!
