We then caught the express ferry across the Baltic Sea to Tallin, the capital of Estonia. Estonia was -12 degrees, but so so beautiful and everywhere was covered in snow. Checked into our hostel which was right in the heart of the old town (which was also below a strip club - classy huh?) We then embarked on a walking tour of Tallinn's Old Town where 15th century walls, turrets, spires and cobbled streets intertwine in a sea of medieval bliss. Saw the Russian Cathedral, Toompea Castle and Estonian Parliament building amongst others. That evening we sat down for a traditional Estonian meal in the Raekoja Plats (Town Hall Square) which was yet another massive feast. Basically they keep bringing food dishes out until you are ready for them to stop! The we headed out again to sample some of Tallinn's famous nightlife. I was pretty exhausted and couldn't really get into it, probably due to the enormity of the previous night on the ship.

Then it was back to London and slightly warmer weather!

I couldn't get over how cold it was, even with 4 or 5 layers and long johns, I was shivering or couldn't feel my feet! All 3 counties were so beautiful with the snow everywhere, the scenery was spectacular and very magical cities. Would have been good to spend a little more time there although don't know if I could cope with the weather.

So that's the Scandanavian countries off my list and now 24 countries I have covered.
