Well, here we are at the end of the long and winding road. Only a one more day here and we will be on our way back home. Kind of sad really, after all the saving, packing and planning, but also have to be honest it will be good to be back home, and sleep in our own beds, back to routine, and working out at the best gym in the world!!!
The last couple of days have been spent coming up the limestone coast. We haven't had very long days, and stopped early.
We decided to skip Kangaroo island, as it was too $$$ for a short ferry ride, and short stay, so ended up with a little extra time at this end.
Yesterday morning we spent beach combing and found some really neat shells, and caves in the rocks along the coast. Took lots of pictures and just played. The kids found their first whole shells, a sea annenome, and a starfish (although a weird shape from the ones we are use too).

We started our journey in Cairns, Queensland, almost 4 short weeks ago.Picked up our home sweet home on wheels, and met up with our son Aaron,. Enjoyed our time diving and snorkelling the great barrier reef, and adjusting  to the hot and humid +30*c weather. Travelled through the cyclone hit area of Tully, and stopped in Ingham to visit with the Barra family.
On to Reef to Outback YWAM base in Townsville.
Toured a little of the Outback at Charters Towers and then headed down the Sunshine and Gold Coast regions.Toured lots of little towns and villages along the way. Stopped at many roadside lookouts and turnouts.Breakfasts cooked in the caravan, and picnic roadside lunches.
Toured an old historic gaol, lighthouses, and wartime battery,  and caves. Drove the Great Pacific Drive, and The Snowy Mountains highway, and The Great Ocean Road. Travelled to Brisbane, Sydney, past Canberra,  through Melbourne, and to Adelaide.
We have seen mountains, and valleys, palm trees, kangarros, koala's, lizards. The South Pacific Ocean, Corral Sea, Tasman Sea, and Southern Ocean. We have travelled over 7000km's in our short time here, taken over 1200 photo's, and a lifetime of memories.
Thank you for following along, and joining us on our journey, and hope you have enjoyed travelling along with us, and catching a small glimpse of our adventures.
Till next time, g'day, and happy trails!
