Hi guys,
On Sunday, Petra and I drove to Delft to meet up with my long lost mate Shane Yates, his son Samuel and his brother Daniel.
We had a fantastic day of sampling Belgian beers in the local pubs, checking out a Jazz/Funk band in a pub that was 500yrs old and playing pool over a couple of quiet Jack Daniels.
Delft is a beautiful city, littered with cute little canals, Beautiful cathedrals and churches and rich with history.
Shane, Samuel and Daniel had driven back from France that day after a week of snowboarding on the slopes of Val Thorens and Petra and I had driven 2 and a half hrs from the north of Holland to meet up with them so, as you can imagine, the brown ale of Belgian beer went quickly to our heads. he he he.

It was a fantastic day of sharing good memories, embarressing stories and plenty of laughs.
Shane and I hadn't seen each other for over 8 yrs and it was quite amazing to have a reunion on the other side of the world after so long.
Who would have thought!

Enjoy the photo's.
