Man, so it's 9/25 and I'm three weeks behind on my travelogue. Here's some ketchup! =)
Connecticut was a fun stop mostly since our venues were short leaving us more free time to do pretty much whatever. We spent the four days in the western part of the state where Congressman Shays and Congresswoman Johnson were representing the people and not doing so good on their arctic scorecard =P. The zoo was the funnest of our events since everyone there loved us and since there were a lot of fun families and of course, the cutest of little ones visiting us at the table. Friday night was awesome since I got to pop into NYC on the train to visit Jenny who was out here for the Labor Day weekend. Our goal: tear up NYC for a night and then, if possible, go for a second bout on Saturday in the big apple. It was a treat to be back in the city and hanging out with friends but, I must say, between the three of us girls (Jenny's friend Claire came too) we had just about the most opposite tastes in clothing, music and DUNDUNDUN, boys. Sad! It was the funniest thing really since I brought along my "fancy" clothes to go clubbing in and was promptly laughed at by Jenny and Claire and then just as promptly redressed in their clothing. I ended up in Claire's top, Jenny's jeans and Jenny's sandals =P. At least they let me get away with not wearing any make-up =P. We strolled through three different clubs through the night, all with bad hip hop and no cute boys. Man do I miss my old 'come as you are' house clubs back home, haha.
