. A sales/marketing guy stopped by and suggested a direct in-your-face ask method to our madness so now we just say, straight-up, Wanna fill out a postcard? =) For the night, we stayed at this amazing little place on the lake and went canoeing first thing the next morning thanks to a tip from our insider motelmates Stephanie and Alan. Overall, I probably spent more time in the water than is healthy for our terrestrial kind =P. Oh, and I met my first Cali girl yesterday all the way out here from Sunnyvale! Cali represent! =)
p.s. We were on the radio 4 times this week! (well, at least, that's how many times we interviewed)
p.p.s. My bro's coming out to NYC tomorrow--I'm stoked =)
Hey hey, I am back on the grid! We're in Freeport, ME at the moment, awaiting a day at the Saltwater Music Festival over in Brunswick. This past week has been AWESOME to say the least. We started off tabling at this teeny eeny little food coop in Springfield, VT, where, during my break, I managed to meet a fellow anthrogeek/traveller while parallel parking the van (yes, life is random). Long story short, for our first days off thus far, Rebecca went off to Boston to meet up with one of her friends, and Gabe and I went off on a whirlwind loop of the state of New Hampshire! We went to the coast and to the White Mountains, camped, hiked, swam and had quite an awesome time. Haha, on Wednesday I managed to swim in salt, fresh and chlorinated water all in one day! =P Then, with the joys of modern technology and despite having cell service about 10% of the time, Rebecca and I met up again in the lovely town of Wolfeboro on Friday for some fun at the Great Waters Music Festival. Rebecca taught me this cool little folk dance (yes, like 6th grade line dancing but better) and we just had a ball listening to banjo and mandolin filled blues/bluegrass/folk music and getting people to fill out our postcard petitions
