Karnak
Karnak was another amazing temple except this one was so much bigger than Luxor. It was huge. It is the biggest place of worship in the world. There were courtyards and rooms and a lake. Really though, the best way to describe it is big. We saw these columns that were so big it took 10 girls holding hands stretched out as far as we could go to get around them. And there were 134 columns. We spent two hours walking around it and learning about all the different stuff. Overall, it was one of my favorite places we visited in Egypt.

On the boat
We spent that afternoon and evening on the boat, cruising farther south on the Nile. I sat up on the deck and watched the river go by. It was beautiful. There is green on both sides of the river, and then desert beyond that. The difference is really dramatic. It was warm, and it was really relaxing just sitting up there.
That night was Egyptian night, so all of us bought costumes and dressed up to go to dinner. It was really fun.
