Kia Ora Whanau. Sorry we haven't updated the blog for a while. Due to Shannen helping out with the wedding plans she hasn't had the time to check in. I offered to keep the blog updated but apparently I'm not descriptive enough (cheeky). Nevertheless I thought I'll post a little something.

We've been based out on a farm, living above a horse stable. There is only so much farm life we can take, although the 20 sports channels has made up for it somewhat and I found a gym so that's kept me sane. Luckily for us Beyonce played in Charlotte which is a 2 hour drive from where we are based. Beyonce, being Shannen's idol, was atop of her bucket list. We were able to borrow a vehicle for the weekend and managed to get there safely despite my kiwi driving.

Lining up to enter the stadium was pretty interesting. Just people watching was entertainment enough. So many hair extensions, so many heels. Beyonce was amazing. Her female dancers weren't too bad either. We capped the night off by checking out down town Charlotte, finishing up at a wine bar that had a couple of NZ wines on their menu.

Sunday we spent the day at the best mall in North Carolina, South Park Mall. We were in awe of the shops there. Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Tiffany & Co, Abercrombie n Fitch, huge Apple store, Rolex.

Haven't been up to much this past week. The girls have their bachelorette party this weekend. A lingerie party where the bride to be is given a whole lot of lingerie from everyone (not a bad concept) followed by hitting up down town Atlanta.

We hope all is well back home. Too much chiefs, pity the warriors couldn't keep the roll going.
