All ready to go and looking forward to dinner with the Jacksons, Pat and Bill (Alan's parents), and the Asselin family. Unknown to us - Pat and Bill arranged for Erin to come in from Ottawa last night.When she walked into the room, tears sprang to my eyes. What a sight!!! We had a wonderful dinner topped off by the centrepiece on the table. Frances had a large plate filled with sand and little bottles holding - what we later learned- were rolled up messages from our friends and family who could not be there!!! Well, There wasn't a dry eye in the place as we read and laughed with each one. So thoughtful and loving....we are so fortunate. 

It was the most amazing evening ever.
