I have fallen in love with this country so much that I don't want to leave. If only I could become like my tour leader Summer and be adopted by a local Moroccan family, marry a local and live here forever more. It is truly spectacular and has such a wonderful spirit it is hard to describe on travelpod. Morocco, along with Thailand will be definite holidays of the future and I look forward to sharing these countries with others (Jule... I want to bring you here on your first ever plane trip). But I must move on and will probably fall in love with other South American countries as well... Summer tells me that Quito, Ecuador is her favourite place in the world. Travelling is such a fantastic experience when you fall in love with the place you're travelling through.

We awoke early this morning for our 5 hour trek through Todra Gorge. This type of activity is excellent preparation for my 4 day trek through the Inca Empire in Peru next month. Whilst hard, it was very rewarding.

During the trip, we had tea with a local nomad family who live in the hot dusty desert. They had a beautiful baby who adored Maria and her camera. Maria scored with a kiss to her nose! It was very relaxing resting in the Nomad's tent and sharing a special moment with the locals.

Returning to the hotel was absolute bliss with the swimming pool.

Truly a fantastic day with great people in a stunning destination. I was not expecting Morocco to be so beautiful.
