I've nearly completed the organisational aspects of the trip including, packing planning and moving out of my lovely flat. Yes, I have been downsizing for two years to be able to free myself from the shackles of full time employment and embark in some extended travel! My possessions are now scattered all over Melbourne which will require some serious detective work to re-assemble when I return.
Next week all this work will hopefully come to fruition when Emma and fly to New York, then head to Canada alone to embark on the rest of my trip. Leaving behind my wonderful family, friends & boyfriend - not knowing if I will be able fall on my feet and stick it or, or requiring an early departure when I realise I've eaten all the tins of baked beans and tuna I can stomach.
