Hola
Am now at the place where I will be living for the next month or so.  Lovely big house in Cochabamba.  There are about 14 people working for the organisation and there are two houses.  The other people seem very nice, only met them today so not spoken with all but very relaxed and friendly.  There are two girls working at the same place as me which is cool, helps me get there and back - is about 20 mins in taxi (car in which up to 7 people squidge in that runs a set route)  This morning I had my first Spanish lesson with Delma.  She is a middle aged lady who comes from La Paz and we spoke Spanish for two hours solid.  Well she spoke and I muttered things I thought sounded Spanish.  No, I did ok I think but lots of hard work ahead.  Have homework before my next lesson tomorrow.  This afternoon I went to La Colonia, it is a day care / after school / orphanage.  It is great.  Will get photos up soon.  The kids were lovely.  They did not care I could not speak Spanish so long as I twirled them around, painted their faces, watched them in the playground hanging off and climbing over stuff (Heidi Mirar, Heidi Mirar - it means Heidi watch).  Lots of hugs, lifting up, spinning around etc.  They have three dogs as well, one of which is a puppy just over the size of a toilet roll.  Is so cute and does not mind the kids hoiking it up and carrying it around.  Good job really because they would anyway.  Was out in the playground in rural Cochabamba with amazing scenery, mountains in the background, surrounded by kids none of whom I could understand but they all smiled at me anyway (probably because I was grinning away at them like a buffoon).  Quite a change from Mile End Hospital.  Think I will be happy here for a while.  More soon.  X

I'm finally on!
Hello there Shadow13! Tee hee, I feel like you're a link on the Matrix. Anynoodles, I am finding it ok-ish to imagine the scenery...well, I've only got Tenerife coming into my head what with the Spanish and the mountains and nice weather. Of course right now I am in Munich and we have a daily temperature of about 1° and this is slowly dropping. Any tan from the holiday will be well and truly wiped off me in a few weeks. :-(

Ok, I'm rambling cos I just don't want to do work but I suppose I have to.

Me x x

How cute
Hey Heidi,
I love your photos, and am so very jealous.
Strictly update, Rachel ended up in the dance off, but Christine got the boot! X-factor update, Ruth has gone, no one really exciting on that though.
It's all still rock and roll over here!
Miss you heaps,
Flange
