I have not gotten round to the imperial system used in the US. They measure distance in miles, temperature in Ferenheit and they drive on the right. I got to the taxi stand and after loading my bag in the boot, I opened the front door to get in. The cab driver asked me "you planning on driving my cab?" Then I realised that was the driver's seat and I was meant to get on the other side.
This morning, I was still adjusting to time. Went around town to get a local SIM card for my phone. Went around town taking in the city. As the conference begins tomorrow.
Went to this restaurant that was on the guide book, called Pittypat's Porch. It was about the Gone with The Wind. The story is told that when Scarlett visited Atlanta she always stayed with Aunt Pittypat. During those visits, Aunty Pitty would prepare only her best recipes. This restaurant serves Southern food. I had the BBQ ribs and it was the best ribs I have ever had.
