In the last two days I have been scooting all over the place on the bullet trains and the local lines and subways.  Seen two amazing castles, Hemiji, the White Heron, and Okayama castle, the Black Crow.  Obviously one is predominantly white in colour, while the other is, of course, black. Been to a Buddhist shrine and was lucky enough to see a ceremony in process, ending with a double hand clap and wishes made.  Finally saw the famous -floating Tori-in the inland sea,  The tori is a traditional Japanese gateway.

Gateway to Heaven
Those trains seem to be all over. We need some from Toronto to Vancouver and to the East Coast - Nova Scotia not Japan!
By the way when is that reunion? August or July?
