Hi again,
We just returned from a 5 day safari to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengetti. I've never seen so many animals - best of all the giraffes! We even saw cheetas - and their kill - many lions - so close you felt like you could reach out and touch them! We had a super guide/translator/driver who saw animals before anyone else. The sunset on the Serengetti was spectacular! I can't download any pictures today because the internet is not quite what we are used to in the US. But at least they have it - and everyone has cell phones too. We visited a Masaii boma which was an experience in itself. I'm out of time today but will try to post some pictures soon.

Hello, Friend!
Sheila,
I've been wondering about how you are spending your days. The safari sounds absolutely wonderful. I have a lot of research to do about places you mentioned!

I attended a specialist's meeting at Susan Otte's yesterday. It was so very good to see her and Quinn. They both had colds. Susan thought it was from the air conditioning. Quinn was especially lethargic, due to her cold. Susan is such a good mother. It was worrisome, however, knowing where Quinn should be in her development, to observe her lagging so far behind. Of course I didn't say anything to Susan, but my heart ached for all of them. She had an appt. with an LPS early childhood specialist yesterday a.m. and Quinn will start therapy soon. It is so amazing to me that LPS works with children in infancy to provide interventions-I think it's awesome!

Keep posting your messages, Sheila. It's amazing to live in this time when we can correspond effortlessly from across the world!
Love,
Judi
