Well, we woke up to sunshine and the warmest day yet. After breakfast, Beth and I split up to do the things we each wanted to do. I kissed the Blarney Stone at the Castle today...lovely setting there and beautiful castle but had to climb a whole lot of very tight stone stairs up to the top and yes my heartrate got up there. I got back a little early to the tour bus and the gentleman that was our driver really told me the historical story of Ireland and it broke my heart but he was so interesting to listen to. After I got back I hopped on a local train to travel to Cobh and sat by a lovely older lady who had my eye color.....and she told me great things and we had lovely conversation and she helped me out with where to go while there. After a late lunch at Jacob's Ladder Bar and Grill....yes right on the water....I went up to the church where Immigrants that left because of the potato famine, would go right before they set sail for the American soil....it was actually very moving, because it has been said if you have Irish heritage this is where they left from. I'm pretty tired though because that church was up a very steep hill and had to take another set of steps. I'm going to catch the bus tomorrow back to Dublin and most likely will just hang around the airport hotel where we will be staying and rest cause we have to be at the airport by 6:30 in the am on Wednesday where we fly to Glasgow. I'll probably wait to write again after we get there.
