So despite CRAZY WINTER STORM NEMO, a canceled flight from Newark, and the unfortunate news that United couldn't put us on a plane to Miami until Monday morning, I will still be in Miami by noon tomorrow thanks to our travel agent!
The bad news is that we have to go to Philadelphia International for a 9:50AM flight tomorrow morning. Getting down there will take close to two hours with the road conditions factored in, so we're leaving before 6:30AM. Not great. I hate Philadelphia.
The good news is that our agent booked us on a still on-schedule US Airways flight directly to Miami AND upgraded our seats. On top of that, we'll be arriving in Miami a full two hours earlier than United would have done, so that means more beach, more booze, more nap, more time to spend at the Four Seasons.
This entry would have been a lot longer if things hadn't worked out so well, but if tomorrow's flight is canceled while we're on our way down to Philly, you can expect a rant here about it.
Hopefully by the time I post something tomorrow night, I'll be on a balcony in 70-degre weather overlooking the Atlantic having a cocktail and very much looking forward to flying into Havana the next day.
Thanks for reading! Be safe and warm, guys.
