Where I stayed

We stayed in Amman Beach yesterday next to the Dead Sea. We set up to big tens that more than 200 people could fit in. It felt like LOST set :)

Waking up early in the morning, we said bye to those who cannot come into Palestine: Lebanese, Syrians, Iranians, etc. We went to Allenby Bridge by bus and took the bikes there. Crossing from one country to another, by bike, with women from all over the world, was a moment i cannot forget, it was so touching.

When we arrived at Israeli border, things looked calm, we were treated well, until the problem with Turkish Team's visas popped up. Even though I talked and gave all the information of the group beforehand to the Israeli authorities, they said that they didn t recieve such information, we should just go back to Amman. That moment was the time everybody got so dissapointed but not too much that we started calling everybody we could, embassies, ministers, relatives with connections! Finally, i don t know whih on, worked and they said OK. At the mean time, everybody on the other side had been waiting for us. We all started shouting yayyyy and singing, all the people put their hand together for us to pass under right after the passport check. We were all in tears, after hours of waiting...(This experience is going to make more sense when i write longer in Turkish)

We took the bikes from the border and started cycling again but it was just too hot. 5 kilometres to complete to ride, i left it as i was dyhydrated and my blood pressure was totally down...

We came to hotel, no time to relax went to Mount of Tempation with Ceren and two documentary makers from Australia. We knocked on the door for more than 30 minutes, but noone answered. I thought this tactic would work as it did in the past for me but we were not that lucky this time.

When we came back to hotel, we watched a presentation about Right To Play organization and had a welcome speech by the Governor of Jericho.

Tomorrow we are going to Ramallah but i want to skip the program for 2-3 hours and take Ceren and Pinar to Jerusalem. We'll see if it is going to happen...

I  missed Palestine, i can t believe to be back again...
