Today off to Santaigo. Got a bus to Calama (1h30) then got a bus at 9pm to Santiago (24hrs). Wow. Going to have a crazy party on the bus. LOL. Should therefore arrive at 9pm at Santiago tomorrow - 36hrs before my plane :-p. More news then.
Ok well the bus to Calama went good. We had 1hr between the two buses, managed to get to the other terminal with 40 min to spare so had a chinese (first time in south amerika) as it was the only thing open. Got into our bus, very nice (we invested in a semi business type of class), massive seats that inclided 70 degrees. niiiceee. Slept great, stopped a few times on the way to collect some people. When we left La Serena (half way) we had an accident with a car (didnt feel anything in the bus but the car was damaged) and had to wait 1hr whislt the drivers talked with the police (it was the buses fault). Then at 200km from Santiago the bus died. Waited 30min for another bus from teh same company to pass but unfortunatly didnt have enough room for everybody and me and oli were teh silly sods that had to wait for teh next bus... grrr. Lucky one arrived within 20min. Finalllyy got to Santiago around 7pm. Got to our hostel, which was very sexy, had the best shower in a month, most confortable bed and duvet tan bien!
Next day woke up late (because the beds were confortable) and just walked around town, which was very nice, resembles slightly Barcelona. Went to bed not too late - Pool table, TV, free internet and nice kitchen meant we stayed in that evening.
