Greg and Cathryn return from Cachi around 1pm to learn that we will not be able to leave. Patrick has changed hotels to the Almeria, a bit less hip and substantially more comfortable. Patrick gets the luxury suite because it was the last room available. After admiring his cowhide covered headboard, Sterling silver and horn lamps, private spa mezzanine and deck with mountain views, we go for late lunch.

Over lunch we discuss the status of the radio repair and options, such as flying with a handheld radio.

We are all ready to be back in the plane and on our way to San Rafael. As it turns out, we have two more nights in Salta.
