Greg and Cathryn rent a car and drive to Cachi, an historic area becoming a wine region high in the Andes. Only 130Km (80 mi), but it takes 4 hours to wind their way up to the high mountain plain. It is magical.  At 10,000 feet the plain is dotted with giant cactus.  They arrive in Cachi in late afternoon when the golden glow of the sun makes each Spanish adobe look like a gem.

Patrick is still fighting something in his chest, so he opts to rest and get the situation checked out.  Two doctors come to the hotel.  They determine it is a virus that with rest (not Patrick's strong suit) will resolve itself.  He gets some medicine and feels good enough to go out and enjoy dinner and live music in Salta.
