Well what can I say, today was the busiest day that I have had while traveling so far, as up bright and early as per usual, and it was off to pound the pavement and see all that Toronto had to offer and today I was not going to back down from the heat and just push on through the sweat and heat like a real trooper.
First destination was the Hockey Hall of Fame and due to not asking for directions got to an entrance that was locked, put that on the backburner and then headed Up-town to see what I could find, and find I did. It comes in the form of a Shopping Centre (Mall ) that is about 2 - 3blocks long, maybe a block wide and a good 5levels high and I was so overwhelmed with how big it is and where it is as you don’t find a place that size in the CBD of anY New Zealand Cities. After wandering through there, got back outside and keep on going Up Town before heading back down towards the Waterfront.
Made my way down to the Central Station and then onto the CN Tower from there, and of course it would just not be right to visit it without going up to the Skypod level and then stand on the glass floors and look own at the ground 400+m below.
Having done the very tourist thing of the CN Tower it was off to the pilgramage site of Ice Hockey Fan, Hockey Hall of Fame, and words just can’t describe this if you don’t follow the sport and or haven visited the building as it is the ultimate place for all NHL Fans.
