Up at 7am and on the back of a motorbike taxi to the bus station near the market. Its not that far away and can be walked but running late and really dont want to fight my way through the market, cross the roads with 2,000 bikes, taxis, bus's,and tuk tuks flying in all directions with my pack so opt for the easier method.4 hour jouney to Sihanoukville sat next to a Cambodian woman who spent testing her English with me and her little boy bashing me with his Batman toy and watching really crap Cambodian comedy movies which everyone on the bus laughed at but me!

Got off bus to 20 tuk tuk and moto drivers fighting and wrestling to take you to a guest house, opted for the Monkey Republic with English owners(not that it mattered!)
Chalet style hut with fan built from bamboo for $6 a night with chill out bar and hammocks with tv room to watch dvds.

Hired out a scooter to tour around, not much by way of life but still nice,a main road with cars bikes and traffic flying in all directions so had to have my wits about me on the motorbike!beaches quite nice but not in the same league as Thailand.Out at night to Victory beach where a few bars were showing the football, came back and stopped off on way back at an aussie bar where all the aussies were crowded round watching Italy v Australia and got beers bought me by Peter a bloke who was living here doing up a bar two doors down.Left the pub full of Aussies crying after the penalty,

next day got up and lay on Victory beach in first day of sunshine i'd seen in 2weeks drinking coconut milkshakes and fruit salad till a storm started to gather over so quickly did one and spent afternoon and night lazing round the digs playing pool with the other people there.Got up next day more rain and storms, decided to head out on moto to snake house i'd seen advertised, halfway there heavens opened and dived into supermarket for half hour as couldnt see hand in front of me!realised after half hour its not gonna get better so bought a trendy poncho with hood for a dollar and jumped back on the bike, feet up on seat nearly swallowed by the puddles.Got to the snake farm where you could eat in a restaurant with tables with glass tops with snakes underneath glass, loads of different snakes but big pythons couped up in small tanks not big enough for them. Was wearing black and yellow vest and one suddenly striked at me while had face to glass-jumped a mile!

Fangs out with mouth split wide open, everytime i moved or got up he'd strike at the glass with venom dripping down it,nasty buggar just glad the glass was there!!Got back soaking wet to the digs, worse rain id been in especially on a tiny crappy scooter with the flash flood puddles!
and booked my bus for next morning back to Pnohm Pen as Goncalo was gonna meet me there the day after.
