Where I stayed
7am departure from the Bulawayo camp bound for Vic Falls…..We had a straight run, although bumpy (and with a couple of wee stops), Vikki returned with her flip flops filled with prickly thorns (again).
We soon arrived at the tourist haven that is Vic Falls in the roasting midday sun. We toyed with idea of upgrading but decided that the money coud be better spent on activities and so we pitched our tent in as much shade as we could find.
We hit the bar for another farsical induction to the activities available here in the Falls, and decided to sign up quickly to the 'Devil's Pool', and the 'Tandem Gorge Swing' before we had the chance to change our minds.
At 4pm all but one of us did a full truck clean, and then Alun treated us to pizza to say thank you for our efforts (from our own 'local kitty' money - how generous!).
Feeling exhausted after the day, the heat and the anticipation of things to come we retired to bed early. No sooner did our heads hit the pillow than an Afrcan drumming session started up in the bar adjacent to the camping area and sustained this for nearly two hours - followed by cheesy brit pop - 'Yo I'll tell you what I what, what I really really want.....' Yes, for you all to shut the **** up so that we can get some sleep...bah humbug!

Oh heck - have you done the "Devil's Pool" and/or the "Tandem Gorge Swing" yet, love?! Is this why we haven't heard from you since Nov 7th??!! Love Mum xxxxx
Those showers and loos must surely make up for the sleep deficit!
