Vikki woke up still drunk at 6am and 'Huffle Puff' was still huffing. We went with Alan to see Sam in hospital and give her a big hug from everyone before we head off on the rest of the trip. Unfortunately she is unable to join us for the next stage so we hugged her, said a fond farewell and then stole her toast as she was 'nil by mouth'.

By the time we got back the truck was nearly full to capacity and Paula was a little stressed with the selfishness of some of the new recruits - they will learn as time goes by! Hit the road to the Tanzanian border and adventures ahead! Vikki has decided that Paul and Lucinda are either going to be really funny or the strangest couple she's ever met!

Got the the border, where we were surrounded by Maasai Mara women selling various curio - agressive selling techniques! Literally ramming bracelets onto our wrists and then waiting to be paid. All of this in the midday sun, and the dust and dirt and smells - you really have to maintin calm or risk losing it completely! We bought a bracelet each and all was good.

So far the new truckers are pretty quiet but we are sure that they will come out of their shells at some point.

Paula was called a man (again) at the Tanzanian border.

Arrived at Snake Park and the Old Skool cooked bolognese and we drank some strawberry wine ('We don't have to take our clothes off, to have a good time, oh no...').

We are all trying to contain our excitement as we prepare for the exciting Serengeti Safari starting tomorrow....
