Lazy day! Thankfully! Got up at 8am and had the luxury of an omelette for breakfast. We hand washed all of our smalls and watched a large amount of African earth flood from our clothes. Filthy mingers! Had a hot shower (a hot shower!) and cleaned the truck with Sam - she is a bit OCD so it sparkled by the time we finished! We rewarded ourselves with a Fanta in the bar and finally got to sort our blog out! Only 11 days in - not bad eh?! Trying to imagine Rachel or Mum without internet access, or Facebook..he, he!
Lunchtime, looked at the menu, how do we feel about ordering two "Crudeness Creased" please?Decided against it as our driver, Pete, had been up all night with the squits and had now appeared on the steps to the bar looking like a 'sallow will-o-the-wisp' (source: Vikki Kirkwood). We didn't fancy a dose of that - although I could get Tash to double or nothing the weight loss bet as with every day our confidence grows...Did nothing today - it was great relaxing in the sun - tropical storm - sun.
Random fact for the day - A group of giraffes is called a tower. Fact.

No internet for 11 days??!!! Suicidal! I've been trying to phone you every day but keep getting that dozy bird who's doing your voice-mail message - silly cow couldn't tell me anything about how you were!!! Loving your updates - have to keep stopping as tears running down my face and doing random chuckles which intrigues Chris no end!! Might take pity on him & let him read your blog now....xxxxxx
Have just caught up with all your blog posts and have hugely enjoyed reading about your adventures. I'm impressed that you are coping so well with the lack of facilities. I couldn't cope with that at all, got to have running water and a power socket or it isn't proper camping...
Keep on having fun. I wonder how long it will be before you start eating the other members of the tour group? I suppose Paula would be first to succumb, Vikki being a veggie...
