...and FINALLY he gets his arse to hospital!

Ok ok ok.. final update on the health situation..

I gave the doctor the full story, from the original mountain bike incident in Luang Nam Tha (over two months ago) to the ten days of violent nerve spasms that followed in Udomxai, and of course finally getting run over in Vientiane just as I was starting to heal. I didn't tell him I got shit on by a bird the very next day.

He placed the palm of his hand on my chest, just inside my shirt, and pushed down. I almost leaped out of the chair. He sent me straight to X-ray.

The Verdict:

No breaks, no cracks, just swollen ribs and muscles. He scripted me a load of anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxants and told me to 'rest rest rest!' So I'm back to resting again. Like that's new..
