UPDATE: Videos now live... Click here to view!

At long last I've managed to upload a few videos on 'da logue'. Quality's not great through Travelpod but it's better than nothing. Four are from the New Zealand days including all the campervan madness, one covers the random roadtrip across California and Nevada and the last little clip relives some of the banter in Spain with the little 'mad-ass' that time I made a whimsical surprise visit to Europe. There's plenty more to come too, just a case of when. Stay tuned..

For the moment I'm back in KL, staying in one of the best backpackers I've seen in a long time. The toilets don't exactly flush but everything else here more than makes up for the occasional humiliation. Good staff, good facilities, good times. I've even got used to life without toilet paper. All good.

As Barsie's ducked off to Singapore for a few days (to meet his mates off the plane from England and get laggered) it's given me loads of opportunity (now that I've got a tasty little portable hard drive in the inventory) to back up the last four years worth of photo's I've been carrying around with me like a wet fart all this time. It really is a bitch of a job, but I couldn't leave it any longer - and now that it's done, now that I've got sore eyes and a square arse I'm positively gagging to get back on the road again.

While the last few days have been a bit monotone, I've still seen a bit of life. This has involved meeting up with Long Lost Louis, a couchsurfer called Nanie and the bold and banterful Iranian guy (Hajir) I met last time. He's keen to get on the road too before he starts his PhD, so naturally the conversation escalated into ideas and excitement. As a result the agenda's starting to look quite colourful and cheery, that is if the Cameron Highlands are anything to go by. It'll be nice to feel a bit of crisp mountain air for a change. Maybe we'll hit another island afterwards to warm up a bit and alternate mindlessly between sunning and swimming or bar and toilet. Or maybe we'll just ride the jungle train. Will let you know when I get there. In the meantime, enjoy the videos.

Woz..

Getting the photos
and videos sorted must feel like a BIG weight off your shoulders! Four years worth, phew, and I thought I was bad! I guess that's what life on the road'll do to ya, eh? It's nice to see you actually moving around, not just caught in stills forever! Inspires me to get off my ass and get my videos uploaded too. Whether that'll happen is another story completely! Enjoy the mountains and everything else the journey up and away brings. It's beeeutiful up there in the air. Keep on keepin' on Wozzy :)

Ademco................ your gone!
Hi Scott
I have just watched your video's, its really amazing to think this is the guy I used to sit by every morning, he was sleepy and
talked about the beers he had taken out of his fridge the night before, the meal he had cooked telling us in every detail what herbs
ingrediants etc. Watching you through your day, knowing of your bordem and the hunger you felt to do something different. At first I
thought it was a phase you were going through, just waiting to find your balance and then you would be fine and go through your days
each day like the rest of us. later it became obvious(and it was your trip to Africa, you came back a new person who from that day you returned to work had made up your mind to hit the road!) that the guy I sat by each day was going to change his life, for a few years at least thought I!

I am so happy for you and admire the courage that you took in changing your life, you didnt wait for it come and find you, like most of us do, you went out there, took the world by the hand and asked that you be led to its wonderful places. One comment, have you kept a record of the beers you have drunk whilst on your travel :>) it looks like you have had a fair few! ...cheers!!! remember you
used to make us laugh and say when you had a son you would call him Carling, maybe you have found a lot more unusual beer names since
those days. Keep trekking Scottie will talk to you soon when you are heading towards BK. Much love xx
