'Travelpodians' - Part III

Another 'clash of the podians' took place last night as I was introduced to Lee and lisartw, sister of Micky Penguin's from the BB and early New Zealand days.

As with Lee Wilson (of 'Travelpodians' - Part II' fame) I'd previously exchanged info with Lisa through the TP forums, generally regarding a good soaking-up of this sparkling niche over here in the Pacific. No doubt it was a cocktail of recent forum encounters and ongoing sibling pressure that qualified the inevitability of the meet-up. And so we met.

Friday night in Queenstown is a lively one to say the least, especially as the majority of locals tend to materialise spontaneously right on cue for the Brazz 'happy hour'.

And so it went. A lively start turned in to a top night with plenty of stories, smiles all round and a virgin karaoke experience for Lisa the brave to top it all off. The pics are on their way (so I was promised) unless of course she decides to destroy the evidence..

Anyway, it was a real pleasure to meet you guys. Have a blast in Oz, best of luck with the NZ Working Holiday Visa 'treasure hunt' and don't miss the great lakes whatever you do!

Note for Micky... All good Micks. The similarities are eye-raising, especially the 'diddiness'. But you're not all that alike now are you? When I tried to steer the conversation over to penguins she turned her nose up! Penguin 'mad' indeed..
