I spent my independence day in Myrtle Beach, SC for a firework show at pier#2 with a co-worker. The beach and ocean front hotels and condos were packed with people to watch the big firework shows. It was quite scene and have posted some videos and pictures from the event.
It took about three hours to drive to Myrtle Beach and about 4 hours back. The Garmin we were using to navigate apparently thought it was a good idea to take us through every town in South Carolina before putting us on a main highway. We drove through some sketchy areas and we are both glad to be alive to tell you about it. We got into our hotel rooms at about 3:30am today. Good times though!
