Sadly, today was the last day on our wonderful trip to Scotland and Ireland. We have seen a lot of things and have a lot of wonderful memories. We did a lot of sightseeing around Dublin today and ended the day with a nice dinner and a horse-drawn carriage ride.

We started the day by walking through the Trinty College campus again. Sean was not with Bekah and I when we toured it yesterday, so we walked it again. After that we toured Dublin Castle, Christ Church Cathedral, and walked around St. Patrick Cathedral. All three were nice views, but the castle was closed so we we just walked around it. There were sand sculptures in the middle of the castle and here is a picture of one of them. We toured inside the Christ Church Cathedral and it was massive. The church has been here for nearly 1000 years and it has a hidden crypt in the basement, it's a little creepy. After that we walked around St. Patrick's Cathedral. It has a beautiful park next to it.

Sean wanted to take a nap so we left him in our hotel room and we went out to do more sightseeing. We walked down Grafton Street which is a pedestrian shopping district. It has a lot of street performers including musicians and human statues. The living statues move and come to life if you drop a coin in their jar. One statue last night was scaring people when they dropped in a coin. It was pretty funny watching the groups of people scream.

Later we went back for Sean and walked to O'Connel Street and O'Connel Bridge. Everywhere you look there is another sight to see. There are memorials, statues, Georgian buildings and tons of people.

Scott and I had a nice dinner at our hotel tonight. We both had salmon, it was delicious. After dinner we went for yet another walk and then decided to take a carriage ride. We clip-clopped around the city and saw some sights that we hadn't seen on our other walks. Sadly, we are now back in our room packing stuff up in preparation for heading home tomorrow. Next time you hear from us we will be back in the USA.
