Today we got up and thought we would see the Glasgow Science Center. We tried three times to get there, but not even our Garmin could help us navigate the crazy streets of Glasgow. So we entered Stirling into our Garmin and thought we would try a new city.

We started our day at the wonderful William Wallace Monument. It is situated on the top of hill overlooking Stirling. It's 246 steps to the top in a spiral staircase, but it had three different levels with memorabilia on each of them.Sean and I made the trek up there and enjoyed the views from the top. After the Sir Walter Scott monument in Edinburgh Bekah has sworn off tall monuments with dark, claustrophobic spiral staircases. A quick note, William Wallace (Braveheart) was allegedly 6'6" tall and was knighted for his efforts in the battle at Stirling against the English. "They may take away our lives, but they'll never take our FREEDOM!!!

After that we headed to the Stirling Castle. We were looking for our B&B but we didn't have the address to put in the Garmin so we ended up at the Castle instead. While touring the castle, which was one of the most impressive one's we have seen on this trip, I looked over the wall and spotted our B&B. I told Bekah that was our B&B down below the castle. She didn't believe me since I had only seen pictures of it on the internet but low and behold I was right. The Casltecroft B&B has an amazing location just below the cliffs of the castle. This B&B even comes with a cute dog. Ok, back to the castle. It sits up on a hill in the center of Stirling and has 360 degree views for miles. They say that Stirling was the key to Scotland's defenses because it has such an incredible vantage point.

After visiting the castle we checked into our B&B and then headed out to find Sean's hotel. We grabbed some dinner and Bekah even let me drive a little bit. I did amazing but Bekah says I can't drive anymore because she can't take it. She was trying to use her imaginary brake and even grabbed the wheel a couple of times. Bekah said that her legs felt rubbery for ten minutes after riding with me. I think I did great but it is more fun to make fun of Bekah's driving than to get yelled at for mine!
