My next stop is Kelowna which is a approximately 5 hours from Vancouver but since I am in whistler the trip takes 9 hours as the bus has to go back to Vancouver before heading to kelowna!!! Crazy I know but this is the way it has to be done. So here we go on a night bus are feels like south east Aisa all over again, the crazy thing is the buses are about the same standard!!! I arrive in Kelowna early in the morning but the helpx host who I am staying with can't pick me up till lunch time so I have to wait around for a few hours before he arrives so I head for breakfast. My right leg is a little sore from my stack in whistler but I am hopeful it's gonna be ok we will just have to wait and see.
I get collected from the bus station and off we go the stables, oh yes the next host I am staying with runs a horse trekking farm and I contacted him for this reason so I could learn more about horse's and riding.
The first few days at the stables are pretty hard going not for the fact that it is hard work but for the fact that it is a massive learning curve!! But I slowly settle in and the group of guys there are cool but all German so sometimes communicating is not so easy but everyone welcomes me and I learn loads and ride loads, when we are not  riding with the customers we take the horses out and go for a blast which is mental. Whist I am there we go to the Armstrong rodeo which is crazy and we have a few days camping and boozing having the full Rodeo experience!!
