We were on the move from Napa, California for Amy's girls weekend to Seattle, Washington to catch a ride over the border to the real Vancouver for the start of our Alaskan Cruise. But on our way we decided to take a preview of Vancouver by stopping in (and crashing at...we love a free night of room and board!) with Amy's friends Elise and Rich in Vancouver Washington.

We had a fantastic home cooked dinner and watched 007 rip it up in their new cinema room. The stay was short, but paid big dividends as about a month and a half later Amy got a call from Elise about an opening at her Company, and bam I am writing this entry from Chicago!

The following day we toured the Mount St. Helen area to be reminded how powerful nature can be and even more impactful on Amy's life, we visited her old college stomping grounds of UPS.
