Sac Town

We made it to Sacramento for 3 great days of visiting with family and enjoying the town of Sacramento! We kicked it off with a fantastic dinner at Aunt Betty's and Uncle Ed's with all our cousins that live within 10 minutes of each other - Brian, Jen and their 3 kids Meghan, Molly & Quinn and Sean, Kristin and Carter.

During the days we visited some of the sights - the highlight being the Capitol Building where we took an hour long tour.We learned quite a bit about our state government but unfortunatly our Governator was not in his office that day. We walked all over downtown Sac and had lunch in Old Sac complete with the old wood building and horse and carriages. A few hours were spent at one of our favorite museums to date which was a private collection displayed in a home. It had so many different mediums of art and they jam packed the oil paintings on walls which was an interesting way to take it all in.

We rotated locations for dinners hitting all 3 of the Mahoney homes and having 3 excellent home cooked meals. A fantastic family weekend!
