Family, Planes, Petco, Hotel Del, and the Point

One of our goals for the US Leg was to see some of our Family and Friends on the road and we got our first chance in La Jolla San Diego seeing both sides of the family!

Our second half of the week focused on things that start with the letter "P" including the Pimp Hotel Del!We spent a day in Balboa Park reliving our childhood be going to a bunch of museums along with every other school group that day but had a great time learning all the stuff we missed while flirting with our classmates.

Once again making up for old times we went to see Petco Park. A couple of years ago I was slated to attend the Dodger and Padre game at the then new Petco but we spent too much time drinking at Jeff Vinson's house and got caught in traffic thus never made it to the game, but finally I got to see the park. Plus we got a much more detailed tour of it (green rooms, press boxes, luxury suites, bullpens, dugouts, and locker rooms).

After the "ballgame" we had to cool our feet at the Hotel Del for some Mojitos and a great view, which we flipped around the next day with a trip out to Point Loma.
