Why would anyone drive from Solvang to La Jolla on a Friday?
ANSWER
A free place to stay for a week with laundry, internet, and a full kitchen!!!!
Yes we were blessed with a free "crash" pad in La Jolla for a week compliments of Amy's Aunt and Uncle. So we drove down from Solvang, stopped into Costco bought supplies, and thoroughly enjoyed the mostly beautiful weather and scenes of La Jolla.
Plus over the weekend, Amy's mother Karen joined us as we hit the backyard and a couple of bottles of wine on Saturday and got back to basics with a trip with Mom to SEAWORLD!!!! Now let me tell you Seaworld was better than I expected but still I won't have to go back for another 10 years.
The rest of the time we enjoyed La Jolla with long walks along the beach...
