After our Russian lunch where we got to know some of the people on our tour, we visited two churches. First we took on the crowds at St. Isaacs Cathedral which is one of the worlds largest domed structures. Once we were fueled up it was time to visit the Church of Spilled Blood. It must be the most decorated and outrageous building in Saint Petersburg. It was built over the location where Czar Alexander was murdered by terrorists who bombed his carriage. The inside is covered completely in mosaics and every square inch is vibrant and spectacular.
