Well not our normal Super Bowl, as for one it's on Monday morning. Then again its been many Monday mornings after the Super Bowl I had found out who won the game. Second we aren't at Whelan, Peach Towers, Truxton, the Oar House, or Bodega getting drunk but rather in Kangaroo Island getting ready to drink our first of four mini-bar beers (Called VB and something called West End). Watching the game on "A General" TV, some kind of 70's TV (10 Push Button Channels and no remote), at 9:00 AM in the morning.

We tried to call home but our cell phone doesn't get reception out here, which is no surprise as this place is super old school. But luckily we don't get any commercials during the game, but rather the great commentary of three Australian dudes, who supposedly played in the NFL, but have no idea what the hell is going on. It truly is a one of a kind experience!

12:05 PM (Please not we are 13 and a HALF hours ahead)
OK Willie Parker just ran off a 75 yard Touchdown to start the second half. We will have to see if Amy's Seahawks can come back from 14-3 deficit. If not we will be off to look at Kangaroos, Wallabies, penguins, and lizards. It could be worse; we could be driving Tall Paul home later.

12:25PM (This is for all you drunks that were playing Quarters instead of watching the game) Ben just throw an interception at the goal line and they dude almost ran it back for the touchdown but ran out of gas. I really wonder what he cleaning crew next-door thought was going on in room 11, as we were screaming and jumping up and down. But I am sure they were will taking about it at the pub tonight as its got to be the most exciting thing to happen today on Kangaroo Island. Well we got a game for now and two more beers and if needed a bottle and a half of wine.

12:50PM
The fourth quarter is starting which means we are now cracking open the West End Export Bitter beers from the mini-bar. God help us. Well we all now know what happened (at least most people do) in the game. We were both very surprised that the refs didn't win the MVP as there were by far the best player for the Steelers but still again it was an impressive run for the Steelers and I have the feeling that Seattle will be back again. So to next Super Bowl, which I think we will be in Belize for, all a good night. We are off to hang out on the beach and check out some wildlife.

We decided to actually take one of the much touted nocturnal tours and headed out about 8:30pm to see some wildlife. We had not seen much at this point. We met with our guide and saw some kangaroos and many wallabies (small kangaroos basically.) We also checked out some fairy penguins and saw them mulching - a process of getting all new feathers that takes about 2 weeks ...with no food. We headed back to our hotel on the roads everyone told us to be extremely careful on as we would see many animals. After seeing one Wallabie, we were back at our hotel at about midnight and ready for bed.
