As quite a lot of our precious time had been spent shopping for clothes, we had not managed to enter one art gallery or museum - and New York is supposed to have some great ones. (We are a little bit over the whole museum experience anyway and you know how I feel about art galleries... sightseeing suited me just fine).
So the BOSS decided to squeeze in one art gallery before we departed. She choose the Guggenheim as she had enjoyed the one in Venice so much. I headed off back in to the city for one last look around.
We met back at the hostel and waited for the shuttle to take us to the airport and reunite us with our lost suitcase.
And so, as the end of our adventure is nigh, my next and final report will be from Sydney after a 22 hour flight home.

All good things must come to an end
Hi Jacqui and Jordan,
The adventure of a lifetime is finally coming to a close. Thanks for your travel log-we've enjoyed your magic carpet ride around the world(so jealous, hint hint). Once you get over your jetlag and sleep in your own beds(which will feel SO good), we must arrange a get together since we'll be in NYC for a week in October and I want to get your advice about what to do/what not to do. I believe we will benefit from your experience. By the way, New Yorkers in general are not known for their helpfulness-I was always told to avoid any eye contact and expect to be hassled if we didn't tip enough. Next trip, go down to the deep South where I'm from and you'll experience Southern Hospitality-nothing quite like it(if you can understand the deep Southern drawl, ya'll).
Love,Debbie
