Mac is my Aprilia Sportcity 250 scooter. She and I have been together for 18 months and clocked up nearly 25000 kms - mostly venturing out on weekends around the Sydney district - short jaunts about 400kms... and occasionally further afield to Canberra and the Snowy Mountains.

I had been invited to attend the Australian Motorcycle Expo as part of the Survive the Ride Association of NSW. We were doing a display to encourage riders to wear protective clothing and a Fashion Parade of scooter safety gear. The BOSS* was joining me to be one of the models but she was taking the easy way and flying north.

I like twisties - I hate highways!!

These are some of the best (and worst) motorcycling roads in Northern NSW.
