We got up pretty early, ate the free continental breakfast, then went to Walmart.  We got a pilow, bread, ham, hotdogs, apple juice, and gatorade.  We has a fairly long drive ahead of us so we took off towards Jackson, Wyoming.  There were some interesting historic pulloffs along the way and we kept our eye out for pronghorn antelope.  We saw several, and caught pictures of a few.  We got to Jackson around lunch time and went to the visitor information center.  We ate ham sandwiches on some benches then walked through the big arches made from elk antlers.  We also walked a labrynth.  Next we drove into the Grand Tetons up to Moose Junction and went to that visitor center.  We continued south on Moose Wilson Road which was very narrow.  We saw a female moose drinking in a little pond.  Next we tried our first trail starting at the Laurance Rockefeller Preserve and did the Phelps Lake Trail.  I was able to do the 2.5 mile trail without much trouble.  We stopped at the late to rest.  Next we went to Teton Village which was very commercial.  There was a frisbee golf course so we foung out where that was.  Apparently a mountain lion had been stalking the area so we were told to be very cafeful.  We only played 5 holes because it was straight uphill.  We went to our campground.  Tent camping was in the far back and Wifi was not working.  We set up, ate some beef strogonoff, and  went to bed so we could get an early start.
