The days are so long, they're starting to blur.  As I sat down to type, I couldn't think of what we did yesterday morning!

The Lewis' family headed off early to go whale watching.  They saw two whales, lots of seals, Sammy saw a "llama in the ocean" ... he actually slept through the whole thing ... and Regina got sea sick!

The rest of our crew headed off to do the hike at Jordan Pond.  Joanne had researched stroller friendly, more moderate hikes and this was one of them.  I'm hoping we have some pictures of the "stroller friendly hike" at the end!  It ended up feeling like we were Sherpas as we carried Amy, John and the all-terrain stroller Bob (this took two guys) over rock/boulder scrambles and along the winding, too narrow railroad tie path.  If this was the stroller friendly hike, we've decided to skip the more strenuous ones!  One fellow hiker passing us, looked at us and all but said "that's an interesting thing to decide to carry on a hike!"

Alls well that ended well.  "Bob", Amy and John all got out without being dumped in the water, despite the "wobbly like a loose tooth" (Amy's description) boards.

The ladies and daughters went to Jordan Pond House for lunch/tea.  The clouds actually parted and we enjoyed blue sky overlooking the lake for our lunch.  We thought the guys were going to go hike .... I think they ended up having a group FOB under a tree!  It was all good!

We split up from there.  Some drove to the summit of Cadillac Mountain.  Others went to the Wild Garden.  Still others went to climb more rocks and see a lighthouse.

We met up again for dinner at the Jack Russell Restaurant/Brewery.  The restaurant was a beautiful old house that was converted into a restaurant.  They gave us the upstairs all to ourselves (14 kids I don't know why they chose to put us by ourselves?!).  The kids had their own room, the adults and the littlest boys were in another.  We could kind of see them ... but we all had a great time.  And the food was fantastic!  Bill even tried seafood!

The evening ended with another late night trip to the pool.

I'm not sure what today's adventures will bring .... we actually have rain for the first time since we've been here.  We shall see.
