The trip has finally come to an end -- three weeks and several thousands of dollars later and we've completed our tour and visit with family and friends. It is definitely good to get away -- you truly appreciate the life that you have when you see a whole different world.

As for the three flight legs, it was a tough trip -- an hour between Toyama and Tokyo, 8.5 hours between Tokyo and Vancouver, and 1.5 hours between Vancouver and Regina. Major lesson learned -- don't fly half way around the world with a bad cold! Changes in altitude can have an extremely unpleasant effect on one's head!
