After breakfast we all went for a walk on the beach. It was so nice to do, the sun was out and it was a beautiful morning. There was a long board comp on so Tony was happy chatting to some of the surfers (all about his age and older). We left him chatting and went back for a swim and spa. The water was so warm. The swimming pool had a section with a current in it which you could float along with. The spa pool was like a lap pool with about 6 individual spas off it. I could have stayed there all day.
After the pool we had morning tea in the van and then played tennis, then lunch, and then back to the spas and pool. We didn't leave the park all day. A nice change! We didn’t explore or even go to the information centre. Another first! I think we have all hit the wall as far as sightseeing goes and are happy to really 'chill’ out in the sunshine we have missed for so long. We haven’t walked out of the van for a long long time without first putting our boots on because of the cold but mainly because of the wet. Slippers or thongs have not been worn outside forever so this is a nice change too.
After showers and dinner, the park put on a movie "Nanny McPhee and the big bang". It was a good movie. What a busy day!
